What to expect?
What to expect from Lola, what is it, what actually happens? We've made an overview with the most important facts.
1. What is Lola?
Lola is a questionnaire. First you answer some general questions about your age, your current activities, your education etcetera. And after that, you comment on 150 statements about what you like.
2. What do these questions look like?
Here are some example questions.
- I am really interested in design, interior design and architecture
- I like working on legal issues
- Giving a lecture or a presentation comes naturally to me
Technically, those aren't questions, but statements. We call them "items". Your response to each item will state the extent to which the statements fits you: Totally Disagree, Disagree, Undecided, Agree or Totally Agree.
3. How long does it take?
At the moment, the average is about 25 minutes. But the individual differences are quite substantial. Some people like to be fast and spontaneous, others prefer a thoughtful approach and take their time. We don't mind: you should answer the questions at a tempo you're comfortable with. The time used varies between 15 minutes and an hour. So assume to be busy for about 30 minutes.
4. What do the outcomes look like?
The report is a PDF file with colourful graphs and extensive explanations. We actually don't want to say too much about the feedback report, that could influence your answers. It's better to limit the interference of prior knowlegde or expectations about the outcomes.
5. How should I prepare?
There is no need for a specific preparation. All you need to do is make sure you have somewhere nice and quiet to do the questionnaire. Don't start when you feel rushed or agitated.
