Get started with Lola

Before you start...

Please note: to be completed in one session

Good to know before you start: your answers will only be saved after you have completed the entire questionnaire. So make sure you have enough time (about 30 minutes) to complete the Lola questionnaire in one session.

Tutorials

This is an overview of some introductory tutorials. Tip: start with the introduction to Holland theory and the profile analysis.
  • Holland Theory (short)

    This is a short introduction to John Holland's theory, with an overview of the six interest domains and the sixteen components.

  • Realistic

    This is part 1 of a series of six tutorials about John Holland's interest domains. The Realistic domain is the playground for tough, uncomplicated characters who prefer doing over talking. 

  • Investigative

    This is Part 1 of the introduction to the Investigative interest domain. In Investigative we distinguish three components: Natural Science, ICT and Theory.

  • Artistic

    This is the introduction to the Artistic interest domain. Contains lots of relevant information and some nice visual and auditory tricks to help you remember.

  • Social

    This is part 1 of the introduction to the Social Interest Domain, explaining the two components Care and Education. Duration: 11 minutes.

  • Enterprising

    This tutorial covers the four components of Enterprising: Leadership, Organizing, Targets & Competition and Politics & Power. The Enterprising domain is multi-layered and therefore particularly interesting. Duration: 12 minutes.
     

  • Conventional

    This is the last tutorial in a series of six introductions. The Conventional domain is the natural home for well-structured and cost-conscious people.

  • Profile analysis

    Tutorial on the systematic and step-by-step analysis of a RIASEC profile. This video will help you lay the foundation for a professional analysis. A must for the beginning user.

  • INPE & DINC

    A small graph with big potential: INPE & DINC shows the relationship between different kinds of interest-indicators.

  • The Change Indicator

    The CI provides an indication of a person's restlessness and sense of urgency. The Change Indicator is an important source of information for the career counselor. This tutorial also discusses the statistical foundations of the CI stanine score.
